Duties & Taxes
We deliver Delivery Duties Paid (DDP) Internationally. This means the price you are quoted is the most you will pay for your item. If the country you are purchasing from has regulations in addition to DDP, your order may incur additional charges depending on the duty and tax regulations of your country of residence.
Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by The New Guard. You confirm that the credit card that is being used is yours. All credit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.
If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to The New Guard, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We take all reasonable care to make our Site as secure as we can make it. All credit card transactions on this site are processed using eway, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.
To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure The New Guard uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
Furthermore, we will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.
The New Guard Online Shopping Guarantee
The New Guard guarantees that if you’re in any way dissatisfied with the goods which you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund less shipping, provided that you return them to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn & unwashed, and with all labels intact, within 7 days of receiving the item(s). We do not accept any item(s) with any indication that it was used. In such cases, we will contact the purchaser and they will have to arrange for the item to be returned to them at their own cost.

You must include your name, address, order number and reason for return with the returned item for it to be processed.
If you wish to receive a refund we will re-credit the original purchaser’s credit card for the sum paid less any gift box and postal delivery costs.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT APPLICABLE TO SALE ITEMS. THERE IS NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE ON SALE ITEMS.
We will exchange an item within 7 days of the original purchase. Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check. Upon request of your ‘Refund Authorisation Number’ please state what you would like to exchange the return for and we will endeavour to fulfil your request. This must be done within 7 days.
Exchanges received outside of the above stated timescales are also subject to product availability and the customer will incur any additional shipping costs for such exchanges. Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check by the Online Sales Team.
Any return of exchanged items outside the stated timescales will not be the responsibility of The New Guard. We want our customers to be happy with their purchases, and have allowed a reasonable time frame with which they can return or exchange goods if they are unhappy.
Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged or there is a subsequent manufacturing fault identified within a period of 3 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed to be subject to wear and tear subsequent to receipt by the buyer will not be accepted as faulty. Where possible items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with any guarantees.
We advise all our customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
Before returning an item, please obtain your Return Authorisation Number (RAN) by either emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or telephoning our Online Sales Co-ordinator on: 61 (0)8 83579887 within 48 hours of receiving an item. Any returned items that are not accompanied by an official reference number will not be accepted.
Upon receipt of your RA Number write it on the invoice and on the returning address label and then stick it on the outside of the package.
We advise Australian customers to send returns by a registered form of Australia Post (Registered Post or Platinum Australia Post) or recognised courier and keep your ‘Tracking Number’. We cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or damaged in transit. All postal costs for returned goods are the customer’s responsibility and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
For our international customers we request that you send your return via an insured, traceable method, marking your package clearly as Returned Goods to avoid delays at Customs. Return postage from outside the Australia is payable by the sender.
In the event of any failure to return any goods to us within the stipulated time limits, even though validly cancelled, we shall have the right to charge any costs of recovery of the goods.
We will let you know as soon as we receive the goods, and will then endeavour to process your request for either a refund or replacement as quickly as possible.
If you have purchased an item of jewellery online via our website you will need to ship this back to us for refund with its RAN within 3 days of receiving the item. Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges on pierced earrings.
Please note that due to hygiene/health issues, beauty products cannot be exchanged or refunded. Lingerie Lingerie purchased online on our website is refunded/exchanged only at the discretion of The New Guard’s Online Sales Team if the hygiene strip is still in place following The New Guards standard Clothing refund procedure.
All shoes should be tried on a carpeted surface before wear. Shoes that are not returned within their original designer box will be neither refunded nor exchanged.
Receiving your Refund
Refunds less any packaging and postal delivery costs to you will be made within 30 days of the date of the cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card. Alternatively, you can request a New Guard store credit that can be used against future purchase at www.thenewguard.com.au

Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Web Server Certificates, such as the one used on this website, encrypt all data sent to and from the web site. This information is scrambled and hence unintelligible if intercepted.

Offline Shopping Guarantee
Items of clothing may be exchanged within 7 days of purchase with proof of purchase. Beauty products are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Sale items are non-refundable.
